I can't seem to come to grips with the Hyperion who has claimed to have evolved from the audiophile (which focus on soundstage, imaging, pace/rhythum, equipment performance, blah blah blah) to a refined music lover.

All this talk about timbre, no silver with copper, harmonics associated to equipment sure sounds like the opinionated audiophile we once knew as Hyperion. Maybe SET and vinyl source will be the answer to making that transformation. I doubt it though. Face it you'll always be an equipment selection vs performance focused member of the hobby.

BTW I heard that "true music" lovers only listen to mono setups.
