The Au24 cable series from Audience achieves the highest performance standard that I have heard in my system. Despite the fact that Richard at Audience is at heart a solid state guy, I have found that we are in complete agreement on the sound of these cables when we compare notes on the sound in my tube system. I will not go on to describe various nerdy audiophile qualities, But, I will tell you that with these cables in my system ALL of the instruments sound distinctly more like themselves than any other cable that I have heard. It is truly amazing how relaxed electronically produced music can sound when the instruments sound like themselves. I believe that everyone needs a cable of this level of performance to hear what their electronics actually sound like. OK! Just a little nerdism: When I say all of the instruments sound more like themselves I mean ALL of the instruments. From the biggest bass drum in the most reverberant hall to the cellos to the fiddle. It is also amazing how much more you can hear recording artifacts such as corny old echo chambers in old pop recordings without those features taking over the listening experience like with other "detailed" products.

I should say that I also used the speaker cable of the same design and they were simply more of the same. A great, reasonably priced product.
