what does the cable direction do? i just got analysis plus copper oval in interconnect and with the recommended arrows toward the preamp for grounding, the sound seemed heavy, had little high frequency extension, although strong bass. i turned it around so the arrows pointed in the usual direction, toward the amps and speakers and the highs were there and the sound was much freer. checking with the company, they said do what sounds best. is there a reason to point the cable in one direction? will i be better off in the long run following their printed advice?
