Every once in a while a product comes along that excites the average cosumer... for one very big reason.... it beats out the unaffordable perennial leaders.... in quality and value. The Bel Canto DAC1 is one example. At 1295.00 it has been compared to 4,000.00 DACS.Analysis Plus has a winner on their hands. The Hollow Oval design that they arrived at through the use of very sophisticated techniques is truly outstanding. This cable immediately paid dividends. Break-in provided even more thrills. True extension. Natural sounding. Sweet. Transparent... etc... 299 for 8ft run with silver spades..... flexible... it knocked JPS Labs right out of my system for about 1/3 the price.... Thanks to the guys at AP... now please hurry with those copper IC's...
| Product Weakness: | Priced too cheaply to be taken seriously... until you hear it. |
| Product Strengths: | I had never heard Tubular Bells linger for so long. It keeps you listening till the note ENDS!!! |
