First of all I would like to thank Chris for the fantastic silver IC recipe. I built 3 sets over the last two months and have since replaced all three previous expensive IC's in my system. They have replaced acoustic zen silver reference/matrix reference IC's, as these DIY IC's sound a lot more musical with greater and smoother detail with a tight extended bass and accurate tonal balance ( with MAJOR savings as well $$$$$). I have used WBT topline RCA connectors and have covered them with techflex ( a little more then the cost of recomended ones but definately worth the extra money )
My system is as folows.
Adcom GFP750 pre - running in passive mode
Adcom GCD750 CD Player
Conrad-Johnson SA 400 power amp
B&W 801 s III
MUSIC HALL MMF-5 w/ shure V15VxMR
Acoustic Zen Hologram speaker cableAltough it is not a very expensive system but it really does sounds like one, after switching over to the DIY's cables.
