Ahhh, who wants to watch TV anyway!!! :-)Seriously though, that is weird. Is your cable plugged into any component that is in your audio chain? There are others on this board that are better qualified to give you advice on how to fix the heebie jeebies that are originating from your cable line. Perhaps you might want to lift the ground (ground loop problems)?
Before going to all the trouble of shielding, my guess is that your Cable is dumping some nasties into the audio chain and we should address that first.
When your cable is unplugged, how do the IC's sound?
