Qualify all that with the statement that it is absolute for my system only. The sonic differences are small enough that you can say that Chris's recepie will sound better in every system, in some situations it may be too forward. Since i made both sets of cables with construction techniques as close as possible, the only thing i can conclude for sure that I succeded to make the silver wires slightly better sounding.The construction of the silver wires using 32 AWG teflon coated wire is quite hair raising. In contrast the construction of the Twisted pairs is a walk in the park, but with a lot more danger to one's skin on one's fingers.
The point is no matter which cables you decide to build, the rewards are fantastic.
