Nylon rope

I had the same issue in Belgium.
Bought nylon (i think) rope. Very easy to find, all diameters available, ridiculously cheap....
I got the rope, wrapped 2 layers of plumber teflon tape for the sake of it.
Made the double helix as instructed with the 5 9's silver wire.
Wrapped another 2 layers of teflon.
Heathshrink on the whole thing plus extra heatshrink at each end to secure physical connection with RCA's.
Physically strong and still flexible
Looks good
Sounds incredibly good.
