cat 5 composition: double 27 pair in biwire. i bought vampire wire HDS5 (10awg, tight fit have to ensure that you get all the wires into the spade) for the speaker ends and HDS (6awg) spades for the amp end. i twisted ends before crimping the spades (on the amp end, i took both lenghts and twisted together). each terminal end is about 5". i used that gas line tefelon tape around the twists and covered with polyefolin shrink tube so i could keep track of what is pos and neg. don't know if i will do the wire cover with the mesh stuff yet.
