Doesn't the 1C have the countersunk holes, which accept bananas? If you wish to stay with AQ, I would get their current production Type 4, with BFA bananas. I'm not sure what posts the VT60 has, so if it has screw-type terminals, you will have to go with spades at that end.

And then, you absolutely MUST get this and the rest of your cables, onto a proper cable burn-in device, such as the audiodharma Cable Cooker. We have Cooked several AQ interconnects and speaker cables form the early 90s, and were rather shocked at how good these products truly were/are. They had been used for over 20 years, but that regular playing time falls way short of what the Cooker does.
