I can't recommend a variety pack, but for many applications I found very cheap prices on heat-shrink tubing at my local electrical supply, Hite Electric in my case. They had red and black colors, I think, a variety of sizes, and since it was local, no shipping charges were incurred. For color coding, you can always paint the heatshrink to match another color or use a wrap of colored tape for identification.
