Hi, Wood. Just wanted to clarify some information:the FI-25, FI-28 and FI-50 use the same plug with different shells.
This is not correct. The FI-28 IEC uses pure, solid copper base metal vs the FI-25. The FI-28 has an improved strain relief clamp over the FI-25, which used plastic that allowed the hex buts to sometimes 'break free', allowing no more clamping action. The FI-50 is NOT an FI-28 with different shell. The plug face also has Furutech's piezo ceramic material embedded into it.
Just wanted to clear-up the misinformation you received.
