I went a cheaper and thinner with my MG3.7i. I had the original Anti-cable for the MGIIIa but needed longer runs when I upgraded. I bought a 1/2# spool (63') of 16AWG magnet wire from Remington Industries for $10.50 plus shipping and made a pair of 12' cables - unterminated. I have a 1/4 roll left over. I clean the bare ends with DeOxit about every 3-4 months. I prefer the 16 AWG to the 12.
