Since the upper-line Cardas cables feature litz-wire conductors, it's most advisable to send the cable to Cardas for repair rather than try to DIY. Tell them your story and they might still honor your warranty, if not, Cardas will charge a reasonable amount for the job. If you fully enjoy the Cardas cable model, it's often a worthy expense to allow a modest maintenance fee now and then for a high-performance audiophile system...
