MIT Terminator 2 speaker cable questions

I see these for sale in white and gray. What's the difference, if any?

The banana plugs on these cables have a hard ball in the end of the connector that will not fit in the terminals on my ARC VT-100 Mk III power amp. The power amp's terminals take every other kind of banana plug I have ever seen. Is there a work-sround for this problem?
