Possible corrosion problems with 2% cu solder????

Interconnects, speaker wire, power cords. Ask the Cable Guys.

I now read that Chimera coated his copper content solder joints with something to prevent corrosion. It does seem from what I have been reading that this might me an issue. I tried an failed to get a response from one manufacture. I have used this on DIY interconnects but not on any circuits yet. I'd like to clear this up. Tweaker
