Hi everyone
I am looking at the above cable which has been used. I am wondering whether it's genuine ie. did Synergistic Research ever make this model with XLR termination at one end and RCA at the other end? If yes, does it have the circuit for impedance and level matching? I know that AES3 XLR outputs a much higher voltage and the impedance is 110ohm. My guess it should have because it's quite expensive and it would be crazy to market such a costly cable without proper design for level and impedance matching.
But i am also in doubt if someone has modified the original XLR cable by putting in a rca connector at one end.
Any comments are welcome.
