I'd say that on an average depending upon as many have stated above, if your preamps volume pot offers enough gain?, then all should prove well matched, it's sometimes harder to say with passive preamps rather then active one, yet it has often been the norm to use linger signal cables and power cords with shorter lengths of speaker cable, and in some parts of the world............, some listeners have weighted in on the different sonic merits of using long ICs as opposed to one under 1M.
Yet as with most things as they relate to audio, it's always a better option to borrow any given length of desired cabling through the Cable Company, or if nothing else ask the seller for a 30 money back trail period, as most seem to understand that not every cable matches to ones system, and should honor this gesture and if not............, it's best to look elsewhere.
