RE: RCA cables from Step-up?

Give the Purist a shot. As long as it's shielded, I see no problem as long as it fits your ear. I use a Harmonic Tech Truth-Link in that same application. It just happened to be one of the few shielded cables I had on hand at the time. I've always liked its somewhat warm tone and it ended being a nice fit.... even though it was kinda chosen by chance. Pure speculation, but the more critical cable on all fronts would probably be the one from the arm to the SUT.
