Have been using twisted CC 89259 speaker cable DIY cable for years.Went to a biamp set up and needed 2 speaker cable sets for the biamp set up. I read about the Mogami 3104 cable (has 4 wires),and was fairly well regarded. Had it cryoed, burned it in for 100+ hours and was using it for the tweeter/mid connection and the bass connection for quite a while.. I had realized my high end missed the magic, some soundstage and sparkle. Cymbals were not impressive, triangles lacked some realism...... I thought I would try the Risch speaker cables for the tweeter/mids and placed them back in. They restored what I was missing and were definitely a plus in my system. Is my system still in need of work ? Yes. But I will leave the Risch cables in this system and for now am using the Mogami only for Bass duty. I will likely make another Risch set for the bass and retire the Mogami when I get around to it. This may not have answered your question.... I am just sharing what I found. Good luck.
