It looks like you need 1/8" (3.5mm) plug to rca jack adapter. Most people are familiar with the stereo version of trs (tip, ring, sleeve), but as 6bq5 already posted, you need the mono version, the tip and sleeve.
If you care about this receiver, you might want to get some new spring clips too.
