DIY silver PC

I've recently had excellent results with a DIY silver PC for my Esoteric K-01X. Each conductor is 8x 20awg dead soft .999 silver wire(for an effective gauge of around 11awg), pulled through 3/8" polyolefin heat shrink tube. The two silver conductors are twisted about 10 turns per foot. The silver twist is wrapped with an opposing spiral of two-conductor flat copper RadioShack Megacable speaker cable that serves as safety ground and partial shielding.

Cost is around $20 per foot plus Furutech rhodium/copper terminations. Sources are Rio Grande for silver and McMaster Carr for tubing.

In photo the silver cable is lying on top of Furutech Alpha 3-- which the silver one surpasses.
