RE: Thin is IN !!

I've been doing a lot of internet searching myself lately. My criteria has been substantially better sound at a relatively low price. I narrowed it down to Clear Day, Morrow, Cullen and Grover Huffman. Although I've had personal positive experiences with Grover's cables, I have not heard any of the others. I decided to give Clear Day a try and expect to receive my 8ft Shotgun pair early next week. I also plan to get some Grovers for another system and eventually compare the two.

IMHO, no one should buy cable from a retailer. Most wholesale prices are ridiculous. Now double that from a retailer. There are many direct sale only, high quality cable vendors and I believe all offer some kind of trial period where you only pay the cost of shipping them back if not satisfied. In addition, there are many decent used cables available, usually at wholesale or less but no return policy. If you like to roll your own, there are dozens of DIY options out there.

Although I have my own break in rigs, Clear Day also breaks in their cables in prior to shipping; icing on the cake. And free shipping.
