Hi All,
I appreciate everyone's help in this discussion. It's amazing how much technology has evolved, and I understand there is reasonable debate about how much to spend. Honestly I'm pretty scared of the "basic low end stuff" and so I very much hear the comments. Additionally, I don't want to blow it out at the beginning, for two reasons
1) I want the ability to change out cables to improve the sound later - cheapest way to have a noticeable upgrade
2) I don't know enough and am likely to make a bad decision
I'm inclined to use a "brand name" kind of cable like Audioquest that has been recommended by several. I am going to check out DNM too. I understand I might be overspending by going with a brand name but I just don't feel like I know enough to assess alternatives.
Again, very helpful discussion. These boards have been priceless at helping me put together my dream system. I have found a way to wire the speakers with 15 feet each, possibly less, based on posters advice.
