Hi there, I'm a newbie with limited experience but enough knowledge to search for answers, which I've done in this case and now I need your help interpreting same.
I have an Alesis Multimix4 USBFX mix board.
After writing Alesis tech support for the specs of their main out here is what they gave me:
1/4" TRS single-ended, balanced, output, cross-coupled and capacitor bypassed.
I am in need of two 1/4" TRS balanced out (from live mix board) to RCA unbalanced in (to amp) cables of which proaudiola is going to build for me.
Here is the chart they gave me to pick which cable/connectors I need:

From this chart, it appears I will need the number 12 configuration WITH the additional option of connecting the ring to the sleeve for cross-coupled outputs.
My question is:
Considering the aforesaid, does the fact that Alesis says their cross-coupling is capacitor bypassed eliminate the need to have the aforesaid "additional option" (connecting the ring to the sleeve), or should I go ahead and have them connect the ring to the sleeve which is recommended for cross-coupled outputs?
Thanks in advance for your help in this regard. I was thrown off by the term "capacitor bypassed" spec used by Alesis because I don't know if that circumvented the need for a connector for cross-coupled outputs.
