Thanks Lummy. I know Alan and saw him today, but before I saw your e-mail. I will check with him about cable cooking. The Goertz have been in use for years, just like the rest of my cables so I am not sure it will help, but I might give it a try.

I will look for the Flotsam and Jetsam album. There should be one in a used record store here in Phoenix.
