I've had good results with Transparent & MIT. I currently use Clarus which is not in your budget, however, a friend and I did a shoot out with a Triode Wire power cord and was very impressed. It wasn't as good as the Clarus, not as expensive either, however, it did exhibit a lot of the good sound characteristics of Clarus.

Buy from places who allow a return, you may have to try a couple to find something with good synergy with the DAC and system.
