I've been using Wireworld products since the mid-90s. I must have bought the Aurora II powercord starting in 1995. It made everything sound like L.A. Guns' Cocked And Loaded. While that may be a good thing for some of us, it is not, in absolute terms, accurate. Since then, I've tried several of Wireworld's other powercord models. I have not blogged about or reviewed these powercords. "Why not?" you ask.
Well, of the Wireworld looms I've lived with, their powercords seem to be the weak link [if you can't afford the excellent Platinum Eclipse series, their Silver Eclipse signal cables are the next best thing, at a fraction of the price]. And this is after I've properly treated them, by running them on an audiodharma Cable Cooker. Finding the Wireworld powercords to be nothing special, I did not retain them. With the appropriate choice of Oyaide connector(s), the Acrolink 6N-4030P was superior (that is, it imposed fewer inaccurate colorations, and was truer to the source) to any of my Wireworld powercords.
As I have not enough meaningful experience with the AQ NRG-2, I am not at liberty to comment.
