Cardas CAB banana problem

I use these for my amp end and can't seem to keep them for a tight fit. I have spread them out but they still don't stay as tight as I would like. When I was spreading them apart the tiny spring inside came out on one of them and lost it so that one is less tight as the others. You can pull these out with hardly any force at all. Anybody experience this?
