No, I have a solid state system.
I wouldn't say never that they slow down sound, on the contrary they are very natural in their presentation, as concerns dynamics, soundstage and detail.
Anyway you can address the question to Pete, he is a very nice guy, maybe he can tell you more about using his cables with tubes.
My guess is that they should work very well.
Sorry if I can't be more precise on their use with tubes.
