RE: DIY Silver Interconnect Shielding

Oooops, nearly forgot.

My choice would be Option C for both turntable and amplifier. However, your turntable may be susceptible to hum pickup in which case an external copper braid connected at the amp end only will alleviate this, but you won't know until after the cable is built and fitted. At least slipping the Tecflex off and adding an outer copper braid shield over a simple twisted pair cable isn't too much bother to do.
