In a head to head contest, I found the new KLE plug was superior to the original Eichmann plug both in sound quality and ease of soldering.

I think that ETI didn't support Keith and his ideas the way they should have done, hence him splitting from them and producing the Harmony plug. Well, it's my take on it anyway, with no facts to verify that
