RE: It fits like it was made for my plasma.

Well, I was not expecting to see the kind of difference that I saw. This Pio plasma has always excelled in presenting a 3d like picture. That 3d like presentation took a further step forward with the Oyaide PC. Color saturation also is subtly better and even more lifelike than before. There is another noticeable change that I am at a loss to explain. This panel will sometimes emit a high frequency buzz. It seems to happen more often than not with local broadcasts such as the evening news, where banners or other picture elements are overlaid on the top of the rest of the picture. It is not an audio buzz, it comes from the panel itself. Never is it loud enough to be a problem or interfere with enjoyment, but perceptible. That buzz has now been rendered very much less perceptible. As to be almost imperceptible. This was not something I would ever have associated to the PC. The stock PC that came with it from Pio is just garden variety PC with a ferrite on the panel end. The Oyaide, of course does not have a ferrite. The Oya plugs into my old PurePower 1050 regenerator, and the socket it plugs into in the PP is one of the purple Oyaide sockets (can't remember which model number that is). The PP 1050 is connected to another purple socket at the wall with Oyaide terminated CryoMax III wire. I am a huge Oyaide fan in case you hadn't guessed that yet. So, I am now wondering is it the removal of the ferrite, the insertion of better wire and connectors, or magic? Either way, I can say that thus far I am very pleased with the results of my purchase. $140 plus $16 S&H, it is also quite the bargain IMHO.
