Hi,
I own a 4.5x2 m of Kimber 4 TC but I'm considering cutting them in the middle to have two runs of 2.25m, as I succeded in putting the power amp much nearer to the speakers. My aim is to biwire my B&W 804s.
Before I cut: does it make sense ? May I expect some benefits ?
In case, would it be better to twist the two runs or leave them separated ?
Ah, one more fundamental question: my amp is an ARC 100.2 which has speakers outputs for just one pair of speaker: if I connect both runs to one set of speaker output (say 2 red cables to red left channel single output, 2 black cables to black left channel single output and so on) will I blow my amp or damage anything ?
One last question: should I rather sell my 4TCs and buy a single (and shorter) run of 8TCs ? :-D
Thanks, ciao
Daniele
