I used Cardas GR for quite a while, and they do improve significantly after treatment with an Audiodharma Cable Cooker - - you get the tonal qualities that sound like they match your system well, but with more articulation and coherence, IME.
I thought I saw someone offer up the use of their cooker back when you were struggling with the Parsecs. Might be worth taking them up on that for the GR's.
