Hmmm, a well-considered plug and play option, okay:
You can actually take advantage of the 2-prong IEC inlet my choosing a 2-conductor power cord (without a ground conductor) that IME provides fine synergy when mated with an ungrounded 2-prong Marantz CD player. A wide selection of AC connector options are available for the power cord, and you would be well advised as to what you may choose based on your listening taste and budget.
The Flavor 3 is a cryo'd 12 AWG, dual-shielded, FEP Teflon insulated power cord with a precision true twisted pair geometry (not a twisted triad). It's best known for its dynamic, detailed presentation with a lowered noise floor.
IME, its well pronounced bottom end complements a digital application.
Don't forget an audiophile quality power line conditioner suitable for a digital application to plug the power cord into.
