HT for me means a nice flat screen, a HT receive for a few $100, a Polk Audio 5+1 speaker system, less than $300 IIRC, cheap DB player, etc.

But that's me, clearly for other's it's a whole other world ... and for them a few $1000 on HDMI cables would be no biggie.
