spacing parallel cables with low dielectric tape

Mapleshade makes something called low dielectric tape, which you can use to fix your cables into new positions, at least 6" apart (for any cables that run parallel). They suggest keeping cables away from plastic and metal. They say use can use cotton string to attach to cables if you want.

These are the recommendations: keep parallel-running cables 6" apart, or have cables cross at right angles.

I know that Igor took special care in the dielectrics of my cables (I have all Clearheart cables, his best) so I like the idea of using materials that don't mess with the dialectric, although I don't know enough about this topic to validate Mapleshades advice and their product.
