jea48, Good point I would ask the same. Last spring I bought four Audioquest NRG 10 PCs. One for each amp and one for the preamp and cdp. Because I'm crazy and obsessive this winter I pulled the AQ PCs from the preamp and cdp and tried stock, not much difference. At the amps no doubt huge improvement with the AQs. I ended up selling two of the AQs and getting some lighter gauge cords that were also cheaper for the preamp and cdp with equal results. I only got Hydrated a few weeks ago but suspect if I experimented cords between the Hydra and the cdp or preamp it would be a waste of money. YMMV P.S. Separate 20 amp isolated ground outlets, one for each amp and one for preamp and source. Ed
