I have listened over the years to every sort of single strand wire including Neotech PCOCC, the latest CVH PCOCC, the PCOCC nude stuff you buy from Parts Connexion and all sorts of other bare copper and silver wires.....almost always the wire is nude and in cotton sleeving. I have always heard a difference in direction. And in an interconnect it seems the return sounds slightly better in the opposite direction.
