Thanks! I will try as I grasp to find words for what I'm experiencing. A simple way to put it I guess, is that they deliver a High Definition Blue Ray presentation compared to conventional DVD. Everything is so much more real and present...ALIVE IN THE ROOM!! Low level detail is as good or better than being in the room with the musicians. Better in the sense that you hear things that you couldn't hear even if you were present in the hall or club. A piano player attacking his instrument becomes palpable to the point that you sense his energy and hear his movements and peddle work clearly...you can sense/hear the floor also as an artist manipulates his instrument, be it a bass, kick drum, cello or baton. In other words, the energy of the room lives and breathes and swells and contracts as the music ebbs and flows and lashes out at you. All of this puts you in the living presence of the musicians, which is fine, but that is only one aspect of what they do so well. The Matrix cables add more pixels to every instrument and every note and notes harmonic structure, including overtones. The music is dense, full bodied and bubbling over with color and dead on accurate tonality. The soundstage is becoming room filling from left to right and top to bottom..and thats only after day 2. Full breakin is 2 weeks and then some. Dimensionality delivers a deep, rounded, wide and tall presentation that's a living thing festooned with action and microdynamics. Large scale, complex music is rendered with exceptional clarity and definition at all volume levels with bone crushing macrodynamics...always controlled but not overly or unrealisticaly reigned in. If I can think of more I will list my impressions here. Suffice it to say that these new MIT Matrix cables with FAT technology are game changers for the cable industry and I predict reviews will be forthcoming that will concur with my impressions:O)
