The digital ac is an EMC Eupen but this one http://www.emceupen.com/nema.html
IMU14 and you can see it in the photos on the right....you can buy it for 59 euro in Europe.
I'm an italian electronic engineer and i have studied at University of Pisa everything.
The effect of only two ferrite clamps aren't the same of the effect of ferrite powder mixed with a plasticizer in this cable.
Because this cable have a little thickness of ferrite in all the lenght of the cable,So the signal is not so attenuated such as with ferrite clamps.
When i wrote to Mr. Joe i send the same mail to Lucio Cadeddu and Neil Ferre of TNT-audio and to the editor of Stereophile.
You can read the email and the incredible answers of Joe here http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/cables/messages/14/141586.html
Lucio Cadeddu answered me that when they redacted their reviews several years old, they cannot "open" the cable.
Yes....i know that many pages are several years old but their politic consist in "no advertising, banners, readers' support and the like" ,such as it's written on their web page.
What does it mean?This one....
If one factory send their electronics or cables for a review and their products do nothing at the hi end systems, tntaudio tells that those products do nothing at the hi end systems.
So many big factories don't send their products to tntaudio but only the little factories do it.
Anyway i think that TNT needs a revamp and a general cleanup.
But the question here is another....
I have opened the JPS digital ac and it's the same cable of the IMU 14.......
The men who work for JPS tried to delete the diamond with the label "EMC EUPEN" printed on the IEC but it's there again.
But what is more impressive it's :
1)the way of Joe to speak about his customers.(read the answer of Joe in the second post)
2)that the UK version of the JPS digital ac isn't a JPS digital ac because
"The very low quantities required for that country does not allow us to manufacture a custom UK version of that cord, so we do our best with what is available"....the UK version haven't a network built-in into the plug while the schuko and USA version have it!!!!!!!!!
3)that on JPS web site there is written nothing about point 2,so an english man (or an italian man) thinks to buy a JPS digital AC in UK while this isn't a JPS digital ac.
About the MAIN thing that inside the JPS digital ac there's an IMU14 with the logo "EMC EUPEN" semideleted, i asked to Mr Joe JPS ( http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/cables/messages/14/141594.html ):
"Sorry again Joe,
I know that you have a Nissan GT-R......a beautiful expensive car.........a question........and if under the label Nissan there was a film of polyolefin and under this film there was written Volkswagen Golf, and the men who works for Nissan have tried to delete the Volkswagen lebel, what you'd think?"
He never replied.......sigh
