why EMC EUPEN in your JPS Digital AC?????.......photos‏

Hello,sorry for my english.
This is the email that i send to Mr.Joe Skubinski (Lucio Cadeddu and Nels Ferré of TNT-audio,and Editor/Editorial of Stereophile John Atkinson), after i bought the Digital AC and it's arrived today, 5 June 2009, at my home,in Pisa.

Dear Mr.Joe Skubinski,

i'm writing from Italy;
i'm an electronic engineer in Pisa and, mainly,i'm an audiophile.....or i think to be.
I love music and, of course, all the circuit on the electronic devices.
I'm an your BIG fan and i have:
2 Power AC cord,
1 Superconductor 2 XLR,
and,from today,
1 Digital AC.
I decided to buy your Digital AC after reading several enthusiastic reviews on web such as on Tntaudio and mainly Art Dudley on Stereophile when "he called Joe at JPS Labs" http://stereophile.com/artdudleylistening/817/index2.html .
So i call the shop "RANY HIFI", from Bologna, and they ask me 520 Euros for your digital ac(more than 600 US dollars!!!!!!!)
So i decided to buy on web from England.
Unfortunely the cable has the UK plug so i decided to change by myself with a schuko and i "open" the UK plug.
I expected to find a filter(i supposed, inductor and capacitor....such as 2x0,8mH and 1x0,1uF or something of similar) inside the plug such as it's written in many reviews... but i'm impressed.........nothing of nothing.......only a fuse(Bussmann 13A).
So i came back to read again and again the several reviews and always the same thing......"the cable has filter in plug and IEC".
Well......i decided to open the other side.....the iec........and.........what i read?.....EMC EUPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and this code on the cable:

AWM II 60°C 300V FT1 C(..)US E218937 AWM Style20740 3G1mm2 ICC VW-1

If you want (but i know that you know what i'm speaking of) i have the photos and i could send to you.
The men who work for you, have tried to delete the writing on the two sides of the IEC plug but it can be seen with a photo and zoom in.

I was disappointed about this question (i bought an EMC EUPEN cable remarked by JPS) but i'm an electronic engineer and i know how the industries work in the world.

Please, don't tell me that i'm wrong because i can attached the photos of my JPS Digital AC, when you want to see my "open" cable.

The thing that i wish to know is where is (are) the filter(s)?:
there is a filter in plug and in IEC or the filter is only in IEC (2x2.2nF)?

The last question.......about your web site....
why there is always written nothing about the cables(only the awg of some power cord)?
there is always written only "aluminoy" and "the best in the world".
Why don't you put some photos of the inside of your cables(a section) and the material that you use to build the cable?
Why i can always know about your material (dielectric i.e.) from the reviewers?
Who tell me that their words are correct?
Why don't you write that cables have Teflon or PTFE or PVC or air?
Why you put a graph about the damping factor http://www.jpslabs.com/alumiloy.shtml and don't write what it is and why it's there....in the page of aluminoy.

Best regards

Gaetano Piccolo

I forgot to ask to Mr.Joe Skubinski why he tells that the dielectric is teflon, when on Eupen web site there is written (and there is a photo with a section) PVC insulation. Look at page 4 in the EUPEN pdf catalogue http://www.eupen.com/weimages/download_catalog/emc.pdf

If Eupen makes for JPS this cable under JPS specifics, why the iec plug have the writing "EMC EUPEN"?
There is no need to try to delete the Eupen label because i think that if this cable are made under JPS specifics, the Eupen label must not be there....so i think that dielectric are PVC....not Teflon.

The Digital AC sounds VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY GOOD.....but this is another story....i think.

I don't know if i can put a link with my photos.
So,contact me if anyone wants to see the photos of my JPS Digital AC in the particular.

Regards

Gaetano
