Glad you liked them. I had the same experience with my AQ midnight's (sitting in a box downstairs along w/ Kimber 8TC's :-(),and a host of other cables.

Instead of the teflon rod (which only comes in 6 ft lengths or shorter), you might want to use caulk-backer (a bit fragile, but excellent sonics), or 1/4" cotton rope (with NO additives such as wax or plastic coatings), or Teflon tubing. The problem with the Teflon tubing is that I can't find a source (on the WWW) that has a decent price on it.
