I had good results with my Panasonic Plasma using the Furutech Video AC cable (G320Ag-18). Although the IEC "snout" was not the full 1.5" length, the plug "body" was slim enough to sink into the receptacle. Most IEC's have a much bulkier body/hand grip section, which prevents the deep seating. The Furutech cable gave excellent picture as well.
