generally I find one pair of 8TC is sufficient for most speakers in a biwired configuration.

While the new 8TC seems to be merely a color change, it does sound significantly more even, and much clearer and detailed than the older versions, not matter how much wire you may add.

Buy a single run of the new 8TC and you'll be rewarded with a much cleaner presentation.
