2 pair of 8TC vs 1 pair of 8TC biwire (& latest version of 8TC)

A few questions, please/thanks:

1. Which would generally sound better for speakers that are designed to be biwired (such as Vandersteen 2CE Signatures): two pair of 8TC cables or 1 pair of 8TC configured as biwire? (or should they sound the same)?

2. Is there any reason to believe that one configuration (2 pair of 8TC)or the other (1 pair of 8TC biwire) would provide a more difficult load on amps in general or some perhaps some amps (solid state or tube)?

3. Does anyone know anything abut the new Kimber 8TC that seems to be packaged in clear/white vs. black/blue? Just different colors or is there some difference in the performance/sound?
