Cable recommedation for Revel speakers

I just bought a Revel F32 and C32. I have about 20 hrs on them so far. I find the sound to be rather bright or maybe too revealing of my source. I use the Onkyo 805 as pre/pro with Proceed amp. I mainly use it for HT with occasional music. I tried both Audioquest Diamonbacks and Anti-IC interconnect with a Canare 4S11 speaker wire but they didn't do much to tame the brightness. Can you recommend speaker and IC for the Revels? My max price for both IC and speaker wire is $500.00. Thank you.
