Since I have obviously used them a lot more than you have, I would obviously credit my experience a lot more than yours. Make sense? If yours don't seat well within your speaker posts your speaker posts are obviously junk since I've never had the slightest problem with mine. Make sense? As to the polarity switching, since half the discs/LPs/tapes we play were recorded in "normal" polarity and the other half are in "inverted" polarity -- of the ones that weren't recorded in mixed polarity, that is -- this requires a lot of switching. Or a preamp with a switch. Of course if your speakers are not polarity-coherent with minimal crossovers, you can't hear polarity effects anyway, so count your blessings.

Sorry to sound so patronizing. Just fighting fire with fire here.
