I'll disagree here.

There are lots of other parameters of power cords other than how they (might) change the FR of the component they are connected to.

They might be shielded or not which could keep RF, etc. from coming into the component or conversely from polluting the rest of the system. RF can change lots of things that people would complain about before it significantly affects the FR.

They might allow lots of instantaneous current to things like amps which may need it or conversely impede quick current changes to help filter noise into (or from) a component. Once again any FR change is secondary.

Rarely do I encounter cords that make a significant change in FR in my system. (Tho it does happen at times.) Most of the time they add a little (or detract from) inner detail, change the overall noise floor, add more life to the music (or flatten it out), etc.

Never the less I can't predict which cords are going to have which effects on which components and I'm reasonably technical and I know my components fairly well.
